On June 2nd at 11 am, we will have a guest speaker. Daniel Auerbach would like to talk about his recent research results. The seminar takes place in room HB 364, Gorlaeus Laboratories.
The title of his talk is: "Inelastic and reactive scattering of molecules at surfaces: new results"
I will discuss recent results on vibrationally inelastic and reactive scattering from solid surfaces. The talk will include works at various stages of completion, from recently published to preliminary first results. Subjects include: vibrationally inelastic scattering of diatomic molecules, trapping, dissociative adsorption, spatial imaging methods, and very preliminary findings on associative desorption of H2, HD and D2 from Au(111).
